How should you make App Store screenshots for an AI-built app?
Do not treat App Store screenshots as proof that the UI exists. Treat them as a visual sales story. The first images should quickly explain who the app is for, what problem it solves, and why the customer should care.
What should each screenshot do?
Give each image one job: establish the promise, show the pain removed, demonstrate the important workflow, show proof, or answer an objection. Use the real UI as evidence inside a designed composition rather than uploading unexplained raw screens.
What changes when you localize?
Translate the marketing idea, then adapt typography, line length, hierarchy, and direction for the market. A translated English layout is not automatically good localized creative.
Why is this painful for vibe coders?
It appears after the product already feels finished. Multiple devices and markets multiply a job the creator did not expect to become a separate design and localization project.
